Why don’t you accept insurance?

Operating insurance-free allows us to focus solely on recovery without insurance companies limiting treatment length or dictating care methods. It also significantly reduces administrative costs, helping us keep our program affordable.

Do you have grant beds?

Discovery Place does not receive any state or federal funding for grant beds. In some cases we are able to assist men with partial scholarships to help offset the tuition price. Call us and we’ll can go through options.

What medication can I have?

If you are prescribed medication by your physician we ask that you bring it in the original bottle.  Controlled substances (Xanax, Adderall, Suboxone, etc.) are not permitted unless approved by Discovery Place in advance of admission.

Will I be able to visit?

After his first week at Discovery Place, visitation may occur on select Friday evenings.  His Discovery Place Guide will provide more details on exact dates and times. Visitation opportunities expand during our second and third phases.

When will he be able to work?
